Zondo advocates for permanent anti-state capture commission

Chief Justice Raymond Zondo is advocating for a permanent anti-state capture commission.

He believes this will prevent the state from being captured again.

Zondo says people have lost confidence in current institutions, including Parliament.

He was speaking at the one-year anniversary of the handover of the final report to President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Zondo estimates the Guptas managed to embezzle over R58-billion before fleeing to Dubai.
