Anthony Joshua Surpasses Harry Kane and Tyson Fury with €232m Net Worth

British-Nigerian boxing icon Anthony Joshua has officially out-earned England football captaAin Harry Kane and heavyweight rival Tyson Fury, according to the latest Sunday Times Rich List. With a staggering net worth of 232 million, Joshua cements his status not only as one of the most successful athletes in British history but also as one of the wealthiest under-40s in the UK.

Joshua, a two-time heavyweight world champion, has seen his fortune grow significantly in the past year. His net worth jumped by 24 million, rising from €208 million in 2024 to €232 million in 2025. This impressive financial leap has earned Joshua the 24th spot on the list of richest individuals under the age of 40 in the UK.

This growth places Joshua well ahead of some of his biggest athletic peers, including football star Harry Kane, who came in at 38th with a net worth of 117 million, and tennis champion Andy Murray, who secured the 35th spot with 128 million.

Despite his remarkable earnings, Anthony Joshua is not the highest-ranked athlete on the list. That honour goes to Rory McIlroy, the Northern Irish golf star, who now boasts a net worth of 304 million. McIlroy’s wealth has grown from €263 million last year, largely due to his historic win at the Masters, which earned him €3.68 million and completed his career grand slam. His total PGA Tour prize money now exceeds 117 million.

Life-Changing Paydays: Joshua’s Boxing Bounty

Over the past several years, Joshua has consistently secured massive payouts from his fights. In 2024, he reportedly earned 35 million from his emphatic second-round knockout of former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.

Even in defeat, Joshua’s earnings remain substantial. Following his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in September, the 34-year-old earned a guaranteed €7 million. However, factoring in pay-per-view sales, his total payout from the fight reached an estimated 29 million.

Though talks of an immediate rematch with Dubois circulated soon after the bout, those plans were briefly put on hold as Joshua dealt with minor injuries sustained during the fight. Still, his earning potential remains undiminished.

Joshua Outpaces Tyson Fury in Overall Net Worth

Interestingly, despite being overtaken by Tyson Fury in annual earnings, Anthony Joshua retains a higher overall net worth. Fury, who was crowned the highest-paid boxer of 2024 by Sportico, brought in 137 million last year, with 131 million coming from salary and winnings, and 6 million from endorsements.

However, Joshua’s sustained commercial appeal and strategic fight deals have enabled him to build a broader financial foundation. His diversified portfolio of endorsement deals puts him alongside the likes of Jake Paul as one of the most marketable boxers in the world.

A major part of Joshua’s financial strength lies in his global brand appeal. Known for his charisma, discipline, and clean public image, Joshua is a magnet for major brands. His commercial partnerships span across industries—from sportswear and beverages to telecommunications and energy.

According to financial reports, Joshua earned a total of $60 million (€56 million) in 2024, including $50 million (€47 million) from fights and $10 million (€9 million) through endorsements. This placed him 30th among the highest-paid athletes worldwide, just outside the top 20 but ahead of many sporting greats.

Anthony Joshua: More Than Just a Boxer

Beyond the ring, Joshua is increasingly seen as a businessman and cultural icon. His wealth is not solely tied to his boxing career; rather, it is the result of smart financial planning, lucrative partnerships, and a consistent focus on building his brand.

As the boxing world awaits Joshua’s return to the ring—possibly in a much-anticipated rematch with Dubois or another high-stakes showdown—his position as one of the UK’s most successful athletes seems secure. With €232 million to his name and global recognition to match, Anthony Joshua is not just winning titles—he’s winning the financial game too.
