Angelo Agrizzi’s fraud case postponed again

Angelo Agrizzi‘s R800,000 fraud case has been postponed. The former Bosasa COO has not appeared for nine months due to ill health.

The state is in the process of retaining a medical expert to examine Agrizzi. Agrizzi and former ANC MP Vincent Smith are accused of bribery.

According to Investigating Directorate spokesperson Sindisiwe Seboka, the case was postponed in order to deliberate on whether Agrizzi would be fit to stand trial.

Seboka said the matter involving R1.8 billion had been postponed to 21 January.
