We are looking for an exceptional Android Developer eager to deliver a best-in-class mobile application. You will be in
charge of developing applications for devices powered by the Android operating system.

What’s the role?
You will be responsible for:
Having a strong understanding of the patterns and practices that revolve around such a platform
Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Analyzing users’ needs and then design, test, and develop software to meet those needs
Recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems
Designing each piece of an application or a system and plan how the pieces will work together
Create a variety of models and diagrams (such as flowcharts) that instruct programmers how to write software code
Ensuring that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing
Document every aspect of an application or a system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades
Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software
Implementing and enhancing the Android mobile application, alongside a team of world-class developers, designers and software architects.
Working with product managers and designers to create a secure, seamless mobile experience.
Candidate Requirements

Matric
4+ years’ experience
Experience with native Android projects and Android Studio
Experience working in an agile team
Experience working with consumer-facing projects
Experience working with 3rd party integrations
Preferred experience with public apps on the Play Store
Preferred experience with NFC
Preferred experience with RxJava
Preferred experience working with legacy codebases
