Fikile Mbalula calls Andre De Ruyter claims baseless

ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula has called out former Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter for his claims of corruption and political plots and schemes within the struggling power utility.

Mbalula says the claims are baseless.

He’s also questioned why De Ruyter is mentioning this upon his exit, yet the alleged corruption happened under his watch as CEO.

He says De Ruyter should come forward with any evidence he has.
