Hopes of revival with new ANCYL leaders

ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa has congratulated the ANC Youth League.

He addressed delegates after several delays at their 26th elective conference.

Ramaphosa says the youth of the ANC must take charge and revive the organization.

It’s gone eight years without a proper structure.

“You have made history in that we have not had a formal elected structure of the ANCYL in the past eight years,” Ramaphosa said.

“It is truly fitting as we end Youth Month that we are here after eight years in a position where the young people of the ANC can take charge of reviving their organization.”
