Fikile Mbalula: Agenda items delayed at ANCYL elective conference

Sunday marked day three of the African National Congress Youth League’s elective conference,
and party secretary general Fikile Mbulula said delegates would not manage to go through every item on the agenda.

There have been massive delays to the start of the league’s conference, leading to some items not being tabled.

Similar delays were seen at the mother body’s national elective conference in December last year, where a hybrid conference was scheduled to complete all items on the agenda.

ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula said: “The steering committee will make a determination about how we navigate the situation. We have learnt from the experience of the ANC conference where we had to extend the conference.”
