Thabo Mbeki criticises ANC NEC

Former President Thabo Mbeki has questioned the quality of leaders within the ANC.

Mbeki says there are certain individuals who don’t qualify to be part of the party’s NEC.

The former president was addressing the Strategic Dialogue forum at Marks Park in Johannesburg.

“What kind of leadership is going to emerge? There are many comrades saying If I am nominated I am available please elect me. And not one explains why they must be elected?

“We have to look at track records of these comrades who are standing.”
