ANC NEC discusses sale of parastatals
A document in the possession of eNCA shows that the sale of some state-owned enterprises is on the cards.
Minister of Finance Tito Mboweni submitted the document at a special meeting of the ANC’s highest decision-making body.
The ANC National Executive Committee is discussing the poor state of the economy.
ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says the nation will be taken into confidence soon.
“There are issues of a contracting economy, jobless young people and all of that, quite a number of issues,” Mabe said.
“Stakeholders here, alliance partners are here and deployees are also here. On Wednesday you will get a detailed brief on the outcomes.”

In other news – Lady Zamar to Block anyone who talks about her Acne
Singer Lady Zamar said she is tired of people who always give her advice about her facial acne. She expressed this through a post on Twitter. The singer went on to say that she plans on blocking anybody who mentions her acne problems.
Lady Zamar trended on social media last month after Durban based singer Babes Wodumo made fun of her acne in a video that eventually went viral. She said people need to know that she’s not blind nor stupid to be walking around with visible acne without trying to find ways to remedy it. continue reading
