The ANC’s Gauteng chairperson David Makhura has warned members not to feel entitled to leadership positions in the party.
He was addressing delegates at the Ekurhuleni elective conference, which got underway after numerous delays.
He said, “we must get this thing in our heads, we are not entitled to be in leadership.”
“We must build the type of ANC that makes ordinary people in communities proud that that’s the ANC we want to identify with.”
