VIDEO: Fed-up Kimberly residents splash ANC councillor’s house with sewerage in protest

Controversial tweep, Man’s NOT Barry Roux shared a clip showing angry community members going crazy and splashing ANC Ward Councillor’s house with sewerage in protest of lack/poor of service delivery.

The incident happened recently in Kimberly in the Northern Cape Province, where residents protested against poor service delivery. The residents were angry that the councillor was not doing anything to fix the problems within the community, and they took matters into their own hands.

In the video that has since gone viral on social media, the residents loaded huge containers with sewage mixed with all sorts of human excretion. The containers were transported to the councillor’s house using a bakkie.

The angry Kimberly residents get on sight, singing in protest, and start emptying the waste-filled containers with buckets. The protesters, who are of varying ages, begin pouring the human waste into the official’s yard towards his house.
