Gauteng ANC conference reconvenes

The Gauteng ANC will reconvene its conference on Saturday morning.

It was unable to complete its work at the elective conference held two weeks ago.

The gathering will elect Provincial Executive Members.

It will also discuss policy documents.

The gathering was allocated four days more than other provincial and regional conferences.

But it still failed to finish its work.

Newly-elected chair Panyaza Lesufi blames the delays on 19 quarantined votes from the Ekurhuleni conference.
