ANC aims to end power cuts by end of 2023

The African National Congress says declaring a national state of disaster over the energy crisis will help in ending power cuts by the end of this year.

The governing party briefed the media at Luthuli House in Johannesburg on Tuesday on the outcomes of its National Executive Committee Lekgotla in Kempton Park.

At the same time, the party says ailing municipalities, violent crime and service delivery acceleration – are some of its immediate priorities..
