Actress Amanda du Pont took to her Instagram account to let her followers in on some exciting news. She just signed a big endorsement deal with Shield deodorant.
The actress is having a great start to the year. From her dreamy vacation in Thailand with fiancé, Shawn Rodriques in February and her announcement of her new role in the Netflix series called Shadows earlier this month.

Earlier today, she took to her Instagram account and posted a picture of herself in training gear to let her followers know the exciting news. She has been named as the new ambassador for Shield deodorant. She wrote: “I am the new ambassador for Shield Deodorant. Activated by movement – representing the woman who is on the go and needs the ultimate protection! #blessed #shieldready #fitsquad.

A month ago, Briefly.co.za reported that in a matter of weeks, the Mzansi actress, Amanda du Pont, travelled from the tropical islands in Thailand to the snow-covered Alps in France. How did she do it? Amanda Du Pont was on a three-week vacation with her fiancé, Shawn Rodriques, to celebrate his 31st birthday in Thailand. She returned home for a week and then she was off again to the Alps, France.

Amanda has this thing about visualising her dreams and aiming to achieve them. She often takes snaps of where she’s been and then reflects on how she got there. But that time around, Amanda posted the pic on her Instagram but didn’t explain what she was doing in the Alps, just that she was very grateful.
