AmaXhosa king to be laid to rest on 29 November

The late Xhosa king Mpendulo Zwelonke Sigcawu will be laid to rest on the 29 November.

That’s according to the Xhosa royal family.

The funeral will be held at his birthplace, Nqadu Royal Place, near Willowvale in the Eastern Cape.

The king died at age 51 on Thursday.

The family says memorial services to be held in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Zimbabwe.

The royal family has thanked the public for its support during their time of bereavement.
