Popular South African singer, Amapiano vocalist, Sir Trill publicly called out a senior colleague for significantly disrupting his music career.
Taking to his Instagram stories, the Amapiano singer revealed that a man, whom he called “Grootman” has been stopping him from working with other artists and releasing songs.
Sir Trill expressed his grievances, alleging that ‘Grootman’, whose real identity remains undisclosed, has been a persistent obstacle in his professional journey. According to Sir Trill, ‘Grootman’ has engaged in actions that have impeded his career growth and opportunities.
This isn’t the first time the musician has talked about being exploited by the unidentified man.
Social media users presume that Trill is talking about DJ Maphorisa.
In a series of posts shared, Sir Trill revealed that he worked on a song titled with Heavy K, Professor, and, but the grootman has ensured that some of these artists drop out from the collaboration.
“SO IM TRYING TO DROP THIS SONG FOR YOU GUYS. This nigga, the “grootman” is making artists pull out of the song. HE MADE 2 ARTIST PULL OUT OFF THE SONG. UYISLIMA BHUTI. WHAT IS IT YOU YOU SEE THAT YOUARE SO SCARED OF IN A BOY YOUNGER THAN YOU? YOU ARE SCARED OF WHO I CAN BECOME,” the musician wrote.
Sir Trill further stated that he won’t yield to the dictates of the grootman, as he would rather quit music than do so.
“CLOSE THE DOORS ALL YOU WANT A. WONT CHANGE FACT THAT I KNOW THE PERSON YOU ARE AND I WILL NEVER RESPECT YOU OR KISS YOUR ASS. IM ONE KID THAT WONT KISS YOUR ASS OR BUY YOUR BULLSHIT. ID RATHER QUIT THAN KISS YOUR ASS. YOU ARE SO SCARED OF WHAT I CAN BECOME WITHOUT YOU. THIS JUST SHOWED ME. YOU ARE A DIZZY GROOTMAN.”
Sir Trill said the grootman has gone ahead to make a song with the title of his own new song with Heavy K.
“JUST REALISED YOU EVEN MADE THE SAME SONG LOL. SAME SONG TITLE. YOU SCARED IM HIM. YOU SCARED I CAN BE A BETTER YOU ONE DAY,” he said.
