Ramokgopa: Stage 6 load shedding will be with us almost indefinitely

Electricity Minister Kgosientso Ramakgopa says Stage 6 power cuts will continue almost indefinitely.

According to the Minister, the system continues to be under significant strain.

Ramakgopa was briefing the media on Friday on the implementation of the country’s energy plan.

“These unplanned outages resulted with Eskom being forced to implement Stage 6 and as Eskom’s communication has been saying that it is Stage 6 almost indefinitely,” he said.
