Special Investigating Unit identified officials at the centre of alleged PPE corruption – David Makhura

Gauteng Premier David Makhura says two officials, at the centre of alleged PPE corruption, have been identified by the Special Investigating Unit (SIU).

The Gauteng Premier says one of the officials resigned and criminal charges will be pursued, while the other will be served with a suspension.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed several ministers to investigate the alleged looting of millions through dodgy PPE tenders.

Makhura was briefing the media on Friday.
