Pre-trial of alleged askari postponed

The pre-trial for the alleged apartheid askari is postponed to next Friday.

Thlomedi Mfalapitsa is accused of conspiring with the apartheid government and luring the four members of the Congress of South African Students to a secluded farm where he allegedly killed them using explosives.

Only one of them survived at the time.

The National Prosecuting Authority has since expressed confidence in the case, even though the incident happened 39 years ago.
