President Cyril Ramaphosa says those responsible for the death of Collins Khosa and ten others must face the full might of the law.
The Alexandra resident died allegedly at the hands of SANDF members.
Ramaphosa says he deeply regrets Khosa’s death.
“The unjustified use of violence by security forces against civilians, including in our own country, is one such example.
The death of Collins Khosa and ten other South Africans reportedly at the hands of our security forces during COVID-19, is something I deeply regret,” he said.
Ramaphosa was speaking at the launch of the ANC’s anti-racism campaign in response to the brutal killing of George Floyd by American police.
