Murder case of Alex pupil to resume on Wednesday

The murder case of a teen who allegedly stabbed and killed a schoolmate in Alexandra last Monday resumes on Wednesday.

The suspect appeared briefly last week at the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court for a preliminary inquest.

His case has now been moved to the Child Justice Court.

Details of what led to the incident are still sketchy, but some community members believe gangsterism was behind the killing.
