Seven-year-old Kairo Forbes, posted a short and sweet tribute to her late dad, rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, on Saturday 25 February.
Seven-year-old Kairo Forbes, who has a whopping 1.2 million followers on Instagram, shared a sweet tribute to her dad AKA. Rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
AKA and DJ Zinhle welcomed Kairo in 2015. Kairo has been the light of AKA’s life and many were heartbroken that she was robbed of having her father around, so young. She posted a video with her dad with the caption “I love you daddy”. AKA’s mom Lynn Forbes, affectionately known as “Glammy” is known to be the admin of the seven-year-old’s Instagram page.
