AKA’s bodyguard SPEAKS OUT, wants the mastermind

The now popular bodyguard who used to protect slain rapper AKA before his untimely death, Anwar “Dogg” Khan has recently gotten candid about his thoughts about the murder suspects who have been charged with killing the rapper.
Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi (30), Lindani Zenzele Ndimande (35), Siyanda Eddie Myeza (21), Mziwethemba Harvey Gwabeni (36), and Lindokuhle Lindo Ndimande (29) recently made their second appearance at the Durban Magistrate’s Court since they were arrested in connection of AKA and Tibz’s murder.
The duo AKA— real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes and celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane were shot and killed in Durban on 10 February last year.
Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande (Nxele) and Malusi Dave Ndimande (Mjay) were also recently nabbed in Eswatini in connection to the duo’s murder case. The brothers are yet to be extradited to South Africa.
Speaking with IOL on Wednesday, Khan reportedly said he wants justice for AKA. He is said to believe that the real mastermind behind the rapper’s assassination is still roaming freely.
“The mastermind is not among them. You can see that. You can see that these are the small fish,” the publication quoted Khan as saying. “We want to look at the mastermind, the one who actually hired these guys, in the eye. We want to see him go to prison,” the bodyguard was quoted as saying.
AKA and Tibz’s murder suspects were facing 10 charges including conspiracy to commit murder, two counts of murder, attempted murder, and unlawful possession of firearm and ammunition. Two new charges of money laundering have been recently piled on them.
Five of the seven murder suspects who appeared in court earlier this week for bail verification were transported back to the Westville Correctional Centre where they will remain in custody until their next court appearance. This comes after the court case was postponed shortly after they arrived.
EWN has since quoted the National Prosecuting Authority Spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson Kara as saying, “The appearance was for the verification of certain aspects in preparation for a bail application. The dates for the bail application are as follows: 14, 18, 19 and 27 March 2024.”
