AKA is giving YOU the chance to attend his birthday party
South African rapper AKA is getting ready to throw one of the biggest birthday bashes of the year so far – and he wants you to be a part of it
The Fela in Versace star is turning 30 this February and he wants to mark the landmark age with a giant party in Johannesburg. What’s even more exciting is that one lucky fan will be able to invite five friends to the birthday party, thanks to a competition the rapper is holding on social media.
AKA first hinted at the giveaway on social media earlier in the week before he revealed all of the details. If you’ve followed him for the last year, you won’t be surprised to know that the overall prize includes a few bottles of his signature Cruz Vodka bottle. The winner of this competition might stand a chance at making history by choosing the next flavour in the rapper’s beverage range.

The party itself is not one to be missed
Aside from the fact that AKA will be in attendance (and possibly performing), the rapper will be joined by Kwesta, DJ Tira, DJ Maphorisa, Boity and a host of Johannesburg’s hottest DJs at Sumo Nightclub this coming Sunday.
2019 appears to be off to a busy start for the rapper. Not only does he turn the big three-oh in a few days, but he will also be in the hot seat as he is roasted by a panel of friends (and enemies) at the Comedy Central Roast of AKA in February.
Tickets are already on sale and we are waiting with bated breath to find out which local celebrities are going to be roasting the rapper.
