Bafana Bafana will qualify for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Ivory Coast. This is a bold statement from coach Hugo Broos ahead of Tuesday night’s crucial Group K clash against Liberia.
Should South Africa fail to beat the Lone Stars, they would have to beat Morocco and hope that Tuesday’s opponents lose to the Atlas Lions in their final match.
“Look, in football you never know but I believe that we are going to qualify for AFCON,” Broos said.
