Veterans arrest was unlawful, says Advocate Dali Mpofu

Advocate Dali Mpofu denounced the detention of military veterans, saying it is unlawful.

Mpofu is representing 56 veterans arrested on Thursday night following an alleged hostage incident involving two Ministers and a Deputy Minister.

Mpofu says the state does not have a case.

The matter is postponed to Tuesday.

The Liberation Struggle War Veterans Association has slammed the arrest of its members.
