Introduction
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Administrator General, within Engineering Services, Bentley Park near Carletonville, Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the Management Accountant.
Minimum requirements:
- Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Office Finance qualification or similar related qualification at NQF Level 5
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word and Excel)
- Numerical reasoning
- Administration and finance competency
- Attention to details
- Good English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Must be able to work with people
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- At least 5 years’ Finance Administrator experience in a similar position
- Experience working on JDE works orders/Job cards
- To be able to able to requisition
- Follow up on open order
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Cost containment through accurate data capturing against source documents
- Effective self-management and alignment with M&C values and leadership initiatives
- Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows
- Effective, accurate, and timeous data capturing and clerical support provided
- Effective controls to ensure data integrity of captured information and effective record keeping
- Any relevant ad-hoc duties that are expected from time to time
