Watch Live: President Ramaphosa addresses the nation

President Cyril Ramaphosa is addressing the nation at 8 pm on Tuesday.

The meeting comes after Ramaphosa met with the National Coronavirus Command Council on Monday.

It also comes as the country is at the centre of a third coronavirus wave.

A further 114 people have died, taking the death toll well over 57,800.

Gauteng still accounts for the majority of infections, recording 3,720 new ones.
