Ace Magashule to appear before the commission, but he won’t step down

ANC secretary-general, Ace Magashule, believes he’s making the right decision to appear before the party’s integrity commission on Saturday but he will not be stepping aside.
Magashule is currently facing 21 charges of corruption, fraud and money laundering linked to his time serving as the Premier in the Free State.
Magashule said he volunteered to go to the commission. The ANC’s highest decision-making body has thrown its weight behind its 54th national conference resolutions.
It is adamant that those facing corruption should step aside but according to Magashule regulations around it are still being thrashed out by legal minds.
The party’s integrity commission can only make recommendations to the NEC.
