Ace Magashule to appear before ANC’s Integrity Committee

ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule will present himself to the party’s Integrity Commission on 12 December.
ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa talked tough at the party’s last NEC meeting of the year and made the announcement during his closing address on Tuesday.
Ramaphosa insisted that the party’s resolutions must be implemented.
We will fully implement the mandate of the 54th National Conference and the decisions made by the NEC, understanding that these are fundamental to the renewal of the organisation and to the restoration of the credibility of the movement among South Africans,” Ramaphosa said.
We have reaffirmed several important principles:
– We confirm the firm stance we have taken on corruption and wrongdoing within our ranks and within society. There will be no dilution of the position we have taken.

“We will be consistent and even-handed in the application of these decisions and will ensure that fair and due process is followed.”
Ramaphosa also said ANC members must use maximum discipline and refrain from “unbecoming” behaviour that denigrates the African National Congress.
