Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

· Assist with financial data capturing.

Assist with bank reconciliations.
Assist with capturing and reconciliations of Debtors and Creditors accounts.
Manage receivable ageing report and collect outstanding debts.
Send outstanding invoices and statements to relevant parties
Process payments on FNB Business Enterprise system.
Processes journals and credit notes and ensure that approvals and all supporting docs are in place.
Maintain and reconcile company cars trip logs and recoveries.
Capturing new employees on payroll system.
Capture and update leave on payroll system
Run monthly payroll.
Perform post payroll procedures
Filling finance and payroll records.
Assist with finance admin.
Handle finance queries from various stakeholders timeously to ensure that finance department meets the SLA obligations.
Perform adhoc duties
Work Experience and Skills Required

South African citizen.
Matric with Diploma or Degree in accounting or finance.
At least 1 year working experience within finance environment.
Clear credit and criminal record.
Receiving administration experience.
Excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office, Excel, Pastel Accounting, Pastel payroll or any other Finance system.
Excellent Communication & Presentation skills.
People skills
Must be accurate and have great attention to detail
Delivering results and meeting expectations.
Copying with pressure and setbacks.
Results-oriented – Needs to know what is required and take appropriate action.
Follow up – must be able to establish procedures to monitor that, which has been promised and delivered.
Time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure
Prepared to work overtime if required
