Accountant wanted immediately: Salary R400 000 per year

R400 000 a year

Duties:

Monthly review of accounting data to ensure accuracy
Review of monthly reconciliations of the general ledger, including debtors, creditors, bank and VAT
Financial reporting including management accounts, statutory accounts, budgeting, forecasting and tax packs
Assist Financial Manager with budgeting process for corporate entities
The first release on all payments
Ensuring all controls are implemented and suggesting new ones where necessary
Maintaining contract/lease registers and any other necessary control schedules
Reviewing the output of the bookkeeper/creditors clerk
Assist Financial Manager with a daily cash management function
Various ad-hoc activities required in the finance department

Requirements:

Bcom or equivalent degree
minimum 2 years post working experience
