No injuries reported in aborted take-off

KwaZulu-Natal: At 14H40 Netcare 911 responded to an aircraft incident at Virginia Airport Durban North.

Reports indicate that the pilot of a Piper Malibu Mirage aborted take-off after experiencing difficulties.

The aircraft was safely brought to a standstill just passed the runway threshold, sustaining damage to the front landing gear as it dug into the ground.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
