Bester never issued with SA passport – Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi

There were questions about Thabo Bester’s true identity after he was nabbed with multiple IDs. Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi says his identity was thoroughly checked.

Motsoaledi says it was difficult to confirm Bester’s identity. He also says his department has never issued a passport to the convicted rapist and murderer.
