Mzansi Celebs remember ProKid: ‘A pioneer and a legend’ #RIPProKid

Local celebrities have taken to Twitter to express shock and sadness following the death of hip-hop artists Linda ‘ProKid’ Mkhize.
Family of Mkhize confirmed the tragic news on Thursday, releasing an official press statement: “He suffered a severe seizure attack. Paramedics were called in to assist. They did their best to revive him to no avail.”
He was 37.
Fans of the musician continue to pay tribute to Mkhize on social media, with many remembering his powerful lyrics.
Industry peers including Terry Pheto, Nandi Madida, ProVerb and Tbo Touch have also shared special messages on social media, calling him a “pioneer” and a “legend
