4,373 new COVID-19 cases, 21 more deaths

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported 4,373 new COVID-19 infections.

Over 3,000 of the new cases were reported in Gauteng.

A further 21 people have died from COVID-19 related complications, taking the death toll to 89,843.
