DEEPER Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) has joined the Government of the Republic of Zambia in the fight against COVID-19 by donating disinfectants, handwashing liquids and facemasks to 40 schools across the country.
DCLM National Overseer John Amoni announced the contribution at the 63rd COVID-19 Update held at Ndeke House in Lusaka.
“We hope these materials will contribute to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by supporting primary and secondary schools which opened last week with examination classes” Pastor Amoni said.
He added that the donation was made to enhance the protection of learners from COVID-19, and to generally promote hygiene in schools.
The DCLM National overseer also commended health workers and their colleagues at the frontline drawn from various disciplines.
He applauded their selflessness noting that they risked not only their health but their very lives, as they work to stop the spread of the pandemic.
The church remains committed to the spiritual, social and academic welfare of young people hence donating the hygiene materials to schools.
