25 passengers hospitalised following a train derailment in Paarl

Metrorail says 25 passengers have been hospitalised following the derailment of a train in Paarl in the Boland of the Western Cape yesterday.
The train was travelling from Cape Town to Wellington when the incident occurred last night.
Metrorail management says the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) and Transnet Freight Rail are currently investigating the incident.
Train services have been suspended at Dal Josafat Station until further notice. No fatalities have been reported.
