The National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) has reported 12,056. A total of 413 more people have died, taking South Africa’s death toll to 69,488.
3,600 of the new cases are in Gauteng, 2,5000 are in the Western Cape and 1,700 are in KwaZulu Natal.
