COVID-19 vaccine rollout expanded to include 12-17 year-olds

COVID-19 vaccinations are open for 12 to 17-year-olds from 20 October.
Health Minister Joe Phaahla says sites are ready to administer vaccines to this age group.

Teenagers will not be vaccinated at schools. They will be able to go to vaccination sites. As of 20th October if you 12-17 years old you can register on #EVDS and go get jabbed. Acting DG of Health says the Child Act says you don’t need consent from parents if you 12-17. #eNCA
