Shebeshxt’s lawyer and spokesperson for the family, Lot Ramusi says they don’t know whether he will attend his daughter’s funeral.
Lehlogonolono “Shebeshxt” Chauke’s lawyer confirms the funeral service and also addressed rumours about the rapper losing his leg.
Lot Ramusi confirmed to the publication on Tuesday, 18 June that Shebeshxt has not lost his leg or foot.
This comes after Sunday World reported that the rapper underwent multiple surgeries following the fatal car crash.
“We just keep on praying. He is coming, alright. He is going through different operations. At least he has started talking again. He started talking properly again on Monday,” Ramusi told Sunday World.
The rapper’s mother also revealed that her son suffered a broken leg, abdominal injuries, and head injuries.
Ramusi also reveals in an interview shared by MDN News on X that the accident was not Chauke’s fault.

Lot Ramusi also confirmed to our publication that Shebeshxt’s daughter, Onthantile Chuene will be buried this Saturday, 22 June.
This comes after social media users shared a pamphlet of the funeral service of the rapper’s daughter on Monday, 17 June.
“We saw the pamphlet, which was circulated before the family’s approval or knowledge, but I can confirm the contents. The funeral service of Onthatile will be on 22 June 2024 at Lebowakgomo,” he said.
Ramusi also says he will confirm later today (18 June) about whether the rapper will attend his daughter’s funeral.
“We are just waiting for confirmation from the medical team,” he adds.
Chuene’s school, Northern Academy paid tribute to her after she passed away on Saturday, 8 June. The school also revealed in a statement that they are reeling in shock and sadness following the tragic passing of the Grade 3 learner.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Onthatile Chuene, a cherished Grade 3 learner at our school. Onthatile passed away on 8 June 2024, and our entire Northern Academy family is deeply affected by this loss.”
