South Africans were angered by an online poll by MetroFM about Miss SA that gave people the option to say she’s not the right choice. Zozibini Tunzi, however, is unshaken and says beauty isn’t ‘a thing’ for her.
Zozibini Tunzi is not really too bothered by the controversial Metro FM poll that put into question her beauty.
In fact, it looks like she doesn’t care about it at all. The natural beauty, and Mzansi’s Miss SA, would have been more upset if her intelligence was questioned, according to SowetanLIVE.
“People have been sending me screenshots of it [the poll] and it’s a bit sad. People have their opinion and it is what it is.”
“Beauty is subjective. You look different to different people, which is why beauty is not even a thing for me.”
“If you say to me that ‘you are ugly’, I don’t even care. I’d be more affected if someone said I wasn’t smart. Then I would have been hurt. But being pretty? I don’t really care and (I’m) not interested.”
Zozibini’s reaction shows that she’s not shallow and her focus is on the more lasting things in life.
The SABC has since distanced itself from the poll that was held on Twitter, Briefly.co.za reported earlier.

The controversial poll was made by the radio station’s The Wkndr Show and left a bitter taste in many people’s mouths.
As reported on by EWN, the tweet has since been deleted, but the damage has been done. Thanks to social media users, a screenshot of the poll has been shared:
