Zodwa Wabantu: It was rough

Zodwa Wabantu: It was rough. The Soweto native, who continues to win the hearts of South Africans, has described her upbringing was full of hustling. She told Mo Flava on Metro FM: “It was rough.”

Growing up was not all rosy for Zodwa Wabantu.

When asked what she wanted to be as an adult, she said: “The way I was so poor, I couldn’t even think or dream of what I wanted to be. I just wanted to sleep with my tummy full, I swear to God.”

The socialite and dancer said the way she was so poor, that she didn’t even have a chance to think about becoming a nurse, teacher or whatever.

She has certainly come a long way and has proven that tough situations don’t last.

The last time we checked, Zodwa’s booking fee was R35 000. She’s also growing her brand and will be appearing on her own reality show.

The dancer told Sunday World about her show: “It’s going to be thirteen episodes. But I won’t shoot a single episode unless half of the amount has been paid into my account. I cannot put my private life out there for nothing.”  she said. A picture of her house she is building…

Just Build this houses & Count them After. At the End Zodwa Wabantu name on it👌.
