DC Warehouse Supervisor urgently wanted: Salary R8 000 to R10 000 per month

To ensure that all departmental activities are completed accurately and timeously as per DC plan through effective planning, leading, organizing and managing of the team.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Ensure daily targets are achieved.
Planning and organizing departmental activities and support services.
Effective feedback and communication to leader and team members.
Ensure correct use and maintenance of assets.
Co-ordinate health and safety activities within the department.
Effective management of team and related HR Matters.
Leadership and self –management.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential:
Experience working in the operations environment (eg. DC/warehouse)
Experience in identifying and achieving short term goals.
Warehouse Management system and process flows.
Experience in leading and managing teams.
Developing Teams
Preferred:
Similar experience in a Clothing/Textile industry.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Essential:
Matric /Grade 12/ NQF level 4 equivalent
Preferred:
Tertiary Qualification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management Course in First Line Management

KNOWLEDGE required:
Warehouse system knowledge (WMS)
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Understanding standard operating procedures within departments
