Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Inbound & Outbound Logistics
- Receiving and dispatch of Transfer orders between branches.
- Action physical stock to different stockholding areas on receipt.
- On-time completion of daily orders and backorders.
- Order completion based on Shipping Instruction on Sales orders.
- Order completion for orders and backorders based on date generated.
- 100% correctness of picking and packing for orders.
- Prepare orders for collection within an ½ hour.
- Daily tracking of parcels dispatched, escalate problem parcels to Logistics Supervisor.
- Daily filing of picking lists and Courier manifests, by day for the month.
Warehousing
- Stock rotation and bin maintenance.
- Always maintain strict security control.
- Maintain a clean and tidy stock holding area.
Stock and Inventory Control
- Plan and finish stock takes per quarter with Logistics Supervisor on time for quarter.
- Stock Counts and discrepancy investigations.
- Zero Stock Variances.
- Maintain clear demarcation areas for different types of stock.
Warranties:
- Open and closing of job cards and swop process in Vision for warranty returns.
- Basic warranty stock testing.
- Receive and dispatch warranty stock to HO/Customers.
Driver Duties:
- Order deliveries done accurate and in good condition.
- Goods collected from Suppliers in good condition and match document signed for receiving it.
- Required documents signed for upon delivery and collection.
- Daily vehicle checklist completion.
- Report vehicle problems and accidents.
- Vehicle services on time as per services booklet.
- Zero fines for disobeying road law.
Stack Duties:
- Receive and Bin STACK stock in demarcated area.
- Communicate qty’s received on refurb batches.
- Scan refurb batch serials and mac number per item and e-mail info to HO STACK team.
General:
Assist with Logistics Supervisor duties when on leave.
The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be asked to undertake reasonable additional duties/projects requested by the Department Manager/Director.
Education and Qualifications Required:
- Grade 12.
- Relevant qualification in storekeeping and stock controller.
- Code C1 Drivers Licence with PDP.
Experience Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet.
- 1-2 years’ experience in warehousing environment.
- Customer Service experience.
- Exposure to warehouse control procedures.
