PRINCIPLE DUTIES
- To pick and record all aspects of the picking process.
- To pick medication/stock in accordance with the system and procedures ensuring that all picking procedures are adhered to.
- To ensure that the correct quantities of the correct batch and expiry are picked.
- To carry out duties of warehousing and storage of stock by assisting in the movement of stock between warehouse locations and the regrouping of stock on the picking locations.
- To receive stock on behalf of the company, through completing procedures related thereto.
- Receiving and recording all aspects of the GRV (Good Receiving Voucher) process
- All new stock to be moved into quarantine and variances noted.
- Assist and follow QC (Quality Control) processes for new materials, where applicable.
- Completing of GRV process, where applicable.
- Assisting in the correction of GRV discrepancies, where applicable.
- Ensuring that all quarantined goods are handled according to the relevant SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Ensuring that all stock is palletized and wrapped to ensure organized storage.
- Ensuring that stock is packed properly into the bulk storage locations.
- Ensure that no stock or product is directly on the floor but stored on a pallet.
- Dispatch and record all aspects of the dispatch process.
- Dispatch stock according to the correct invoice quantity, ensuring that the dispatching procedures are adhered to.
- To ensure that the correct quantities of the correct batch and expiry are dispatched.
- Ensuring all invoices dispatched are properly packaged prior to being collected by the courier and sent to the customer.
- Ensuring that all the relevant documents and labels accompany parcels dispatched.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage
- Basic math calculations
- Advanced MS Office
- Knowledge of the OHS Act
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Operations including system interfaces, inventory reporting, storage, methods, and material flow
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience working with Pastel
- 5 Years experience in Warehouse and Distribution
- Pharmaceutical experience will be an advantage
- 3 Years Experience in managing off-site warehouses.
