Virgin Active says it is ready to open its doors again on Monday. The country’s largest gym chain says it will adapt to government’s regulation of a 50-person limit.
“During the last 5 months, we have really prepared our gyms.
“We have spaced our equipment and put in all the cleaning and hygiene protocols,” said Virgin Active’s chief marketing and technology officer, Nikki Cockcroft.
Under lockdown level-two regulations, gyms and fitness centres have the green light to reopen.
South Africans spent their first weekend under Level 2 lockdown. Restrictions have been eased, to allow for more movement and more sectors of the economy to reopen including gyms.
