Some people truly do have multiple talents and fortunately, they end up really devouring any pie that they have decided to dip their fingers in. Media personality, Uyanda Mbuli has previously stretched her creative muscles to various parts of the industry, including fashion designing and starring in her own reality show, Uyanda It’s On, on SABC 3. However, it was quite recent that Uyanda decided to join the acting industry.
According to Sunday Sun, Uyanda has already started shooting her scenes and is rumoured to have clinched the role of a social worker. The article also stated that avid viewers of The Queen should wait a little over three weeks before Uyanda makes her debut as an actress.
Anyone that has followed Uyanda’s career knows just how much of a hard worker she truly is. Proving that this exciting acting opportunity is quite a big deal for her, the mother of one has been taking acting classes – which will most likely add value to her performance as an actress. Various sources that spoke to the publication revealed that The Queen is currently making exciting changes to the cast. However, the recent sacking of SK Khoza’s much loved character, Shaka will not be replaced by another actor.
Another addition to the stellar cast of The Queen is former Uzalo actor, Nay Maps. Reportedly, he has also started shooting his scenes and will be introduced to the viewers soon.
The publication got ahold of The Queen’s production manager, Lesedi Matsunyane – Ferguson. She confirmed the thrilling addition of Uyanda and Nay Maps to the show. Yes, they have joined the soapie and have started shooting but I can’t reveal much about their characters. We’re looking forward to seeing more changes on #TheQueen!

The Water and Sanitation Department has called on Gauteng consumers to significantly cut back on their water usage due to a two month planned shutdown of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project tunnel system.
