ANC spokesperson, Pule Mabe says the party’s Secretary-General, Ace Magashule, is innocent until proven otherwise.
Mabe was speaking outside the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court where Magashule has been granted bail of R200,000.
“The SG has said even from the very beginning that he will corporate fully with the processes and such was confirmed by the prosecution on behalf of the state, that the secretary-general has been cooperating of the whole process and working with the state to provide information,” said Mabe.
“So for now we understand that the SG remains innocent until proven otherwise. Magashule is expected back in court in February.
