Justice Minister Ronald Lamola says an extradition treaty with the United Arab Emirates will come into force on 10 July.
This opens the way for the Gupta family to be brought back to the country.
The family is implicated in state capture.
But, the Minister says it may take some time before we see a Gupta in the dock.
